Hampton Roads Charter started in 2003 with Ryan; his father, Howard; and step-mother, Shana. Since the beginning, Ryan has done everything from managing the bookkeeping, maintenance and repairs, assisting as a mate, and even serving as captain. In 2019, Ryan and his wife, Stefanie became sole owners of HRC.
